Rashminda Attanayake is a Lecturer and Admissions Officer at Siam University’s International College, integrating a rigorous engineering background with extensive expertise in global higher education administration. Since 2019, he has delivered the core engineering mathematics curriculum within the Department of Civil, Environmental, and Sustainability Engineering. Administratively, Mr. Attanayake directs the international admissions lifecycle for undergraduate programs, guiding the holistic student journey from initial recruitment and visa compliance to institutional integration. Advancing the university’s global enrollment strategy, he manages an extensive network of educational representatives, acts as a primary ambassador at education fairs, and cultivates strategic alliances. He also coordinates specialized industry training through the affiliated Institute of Professional Development (IPD). As a scholar, he pursues an interdisciplinary research agenda. Building upon his environmental engineering foundations, his academic interests encompass applied sustainability, institutional governance, and higher education management, collaboratively bridging technical sciences with global educational practices. Concurrently, he serves as an Adjunct Assistant Professor for Webster University Tashkent’s Global Citizenship Program. He earned his Master of Environmental Engineering and Management as an AIT Fellowship Scholar from the Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand, and a Bachelor of Chemical and Process Engineering with First Class Honors from the University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka.
